Welcome!

Welcome to my blog! I'm a stay at home of 3 beautiful children and I love to sew! I have been sewing ever since I was a little girl and my gran taught me everything from machine-sewing to cross-stitch. I started making Barbie clothes this past Christmas for my daughter and I loved it! It's so much fun to design and create fashions for the ultimate model - Barbie! I opened a shop on Etsy in May of this year and I have met a lot of talented artists that I enjoy networking with. So, take some time to look around, read my posts, and enjoy!

How To Dress Your Doll - Jumper

Hello Dolls! I recently created a very fun new outfit for Barbie, but I realized it wasn't very self explanatory when it comes to actually dressing your doll! So, I thought I would provide some step-by-steps to creating the look I intended.
1. Get your jumper ready! Untie the ribbons and unsnap the snaps.

 2. Slide the jumper on your doll.
3. Pull the straps over Barbie's shoulders and snap the snaps. One side of the snap is on the end of the strap, the other is sewn behind the button on the bib of the jumper.
 4. Turn your doll to her side. You will see two lengths of ribbon sewn to the jumper creating 4 loose ends of ribbon.
 5. Take the two sections of ribbon that are closest to the side seam of the jumper. Tie them in a simple bow.
 6. Take the two outside sections of ribbon and tie them in a simple bow above the first bow.

7. Repeat steps 5 & 6 for the other side of the jumper.

8. Voila! Your doll is dressed in this adorable one of a kind jumper! The ribbons on the sides cinch in the dress while still allowing for a full skirt. The shoulder straps and snaps allow for ease of dressing - no forcing arms through little armholes for this doll!
